Pixie Dust
Size 18. Imitates a variety of larva. Great on tailwaters, and perfect anywhere trout are snacking with discretion. Gunmetal bead and the metallic sheen of starling hackle make this fly stand out among the naturals.
About my flies...
I am not a production tier. I tie flies for the enjoyment of the art and to provide quality flies for others. The cost covers materials, not the labor. I generally spend anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes on a single fly. I consider them functional art and treat them as such.
In the shop are flies I have on hand for sale. Single patterns are usually stocked with six flies, and can be purchased by quantity, up to what I have on hand. When those are sold, I tie more. For sets, what is pictured is the actual set of flies you will receive. If you'd like an additional identical set just contact me. When a set sells, I start work on making up another one.
I welcome any suggestions for patterns or sets to feature in the shop.
Happy fishing!
